I'm a Trainer and Master Practitioner
of NLP an Instructor of Hypnotherapy and Master hypnotherapist and Trainer of Time Line Therapy and Master Time line Therapist.
Over
14 years on since I first came across NLP I'm still interested in many aspects of it and still use NLP daily in my life
and work, for me it’s an investment that has continued to reward and enrich my life. When I first came across the term 'NLP' I thought what the hells that? I heard people saying they’d
“used” NLP on someone and they spoke excitedly about their results. Then one day in my training to become a psychotherapist
I went on a therapy weekend where the therapist asked people to close their eyes and got them to do some shifting about of
mental images, and asked them to gather learning’s from their unconscious, play music in their heads or remember some
great times in their lives. I saw them smile and say things like wow its gone! Sometimes something that had troubled them
for most their life! Things that I thought would take years to change.
What was going on? What
technique was that I’d ask? NLP would be the reply. I was pretty impressed, and I wanted to learn how to do things like
that. So I took my training in NLP found it was easy
to learn, and readily usable in my life, plus it fitted with my life as a Buddhist and Mindfulness practitioner, giving me
more options of working in my meditation, also giving me a better understanding of my Tai Chi and Yoga, by learning more of
how my mind and body were connected, and were communicating with me if only I'd listen and tune in. I took more training's
in NLP became a Master Hypnotherapist and sought out whatever therapies I thought were fast powerful and effective.
I began to feel more comfortable teaching and standing up in front of large groups of people and I got to work in TV. The
reason I was recommended for my first work in TV was that the person who recommended me knew I practised as a Hypnotherapist
and 'used' NLP and therefore knew I would have the skills for quick change, and effective change under sometimes
quite pressured situations. So I love my job ! and plan to work for another 30 years or so as it is my passion.
